The Great Waikoloa Canoe Race – Anaeho’omalu Bay

Youth Race: 3 miles
Adult Races: 10 miles
Race direction and distance are subject to change based on wind and ocean conditions.
Entry Fee:
- $120 per adult crew
- $60 per Keiki and Juniors crew
Registration Requirements:
- Entry of crews in Race Day Live
- All participant signatures on the Release of Liability form
HCRA Membership:
This is an HCRA sanctioned event and requires all participants to be members of HCRA-affiliated paddling organizations. If you are not an HCRA member, you can sign up by becoming a member of Waikoloa Canoe Club. Visit our membership page to join at a special rate of $20 per GWCR paddler if you are visiting from outside Hawaii. Membership submission must be received by 8/17/24 to complete processing.

Awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes in all divisions
Chuck and Emily DeWitt Kupuna Award:
Awarded to the crew that finishes with the highest combined age
Canoe Drop Off:
Available at 12 noon on Friday, 8/23
