Aloha All WCC Paddlers:
Mahalo for supporting WCC and an awesome Big Island Tradition at Anaeho’omalu Bay.
LAVAMAN 2018 Triahalon was a success even with the last minute issues that left LAVAMAN without a place to hold their banquet.
WCC received an additional $500 donation for moving the OC6 canoes to make room for the banquet tables.
Next year the role of WCC volunteers will change somewhat. Although WCC volunteers will continue to be a key part of the Water Safety Patrol, there will be fewer setup and tear-down responsibilities. We will provide more details in the coming months.
The goal is to make the experience more enjoyable for all volunteers.
