Bary Foster

Aloha,

My name is Bary Foster.  I was born in Altadena, California and moved to Eugene Oregon in 1979.

I started selling cars and worked my way up to General Manager.  I retired from Sheppard Motors, a Volvo, Hyundai, VW dealership after 25 years.  After Sheppard Motors I worked as a realtor for a few years prior to moving here.  I am currently a licensed Realtor in Hawaii working for Okura Realty.  I was a member of Delta Rotary for 25 years.  I served on the board of Delta Rotary (approximately 125 members) for many years and did a term as Rotary President.

I am new to paddling and regularly get reminded I am not in time with the other paddlers.   (Working on it)  I have been a recreational cyclist for over 30 years, and I enjoy learning to paddle.  I will eventfully get it.

If you are willing to have a 70 year old mediocre athlete server on your board, I am willing to serve where I can.  BTW:  I am active in my church and I do have some volunteer responsibilities on Tuesday and occasionally Wednesday evenings that may conflict with WCC board meetings.

Rami Ring

Aloha,

My name is Rami Ring and I am asking for your vote in the upcoming elections for the board of directors.  I am born and raised in Oahu and moved to the Big Island in 1989.  I work in the construction business with my husband, Randy.  I have been a member of the club since 2014 and currently serve as the club secretary.  When I first considered running for the board I thought, “why in the world would I subject myself to that”.  But some wise member of the club (I think it was Mike CQ) told me that everyone needs to do their part to contribute to the club.  After thinking about it I realized that I get so much from the sport of paddling and from the club, and I should do my part to make our club the best it could possibly be.  So here I am, 5 years later, asking for your vote to continue to serve on the board and do my part for our club.

Mahalo,
